Art in the Interior

A well-known art collector in Asheville, NC, acquired work from my STICKS and STONES exhibition. It was thrilling to see how beautifully these three-dimensional domes found their place in such an elegant interior, surrounded by an extensive collection of fine art.

The Bumps have a presence that changes with the light. Their raised, organic forms and gestural surfaces create depth and movement on the wall—something a traditional 2D work simply cannot do. Yet they can live comfortably alongside paintings, drawings, and other works of art.

I love seeing them in a collector’s home, where they become part of the larger conversation between the artwork, the architecture, and the space itself.
