Earth's Elements

Nancy's pieces include wheel thrown functional ware and sculptural slab work inspired by the beauty of Earth's elements: texture in nature, cloud formations, movement of water, and reaction to wind and light that changes constantly. Structures are built with earthenware clay that is draped, bent, stretched and broken. Colored glazes evoke the mood with places of agate or minerals attached as a final touch of nature's own artwork.
